Wow! This quaint little spot has it all. I have been several times now and honestly can’t think of one bad thing to say about it. The servers are great, the food superb and the place (atmosphere), it’s what keeps me coming back. Might as well add, the Brisket Nachos are super yum! They smoke their brisket. Try them out, they’re sure to impress.
Great food, service and band. We had the pizza braid, Cobb salad, Hawaiian pizza and chicken club. All were delicious cooked perfect. Our server was on top of her game. We only had to wait a little for a soda refill once.

1st time here. A local spot. Plenty of TVs to watch football games. Service was spot on. Everyone was very friendly. I had the smash burger, not something I typically eat. It was cooked right and delicious. I ordered the tots crispy and that’s how they came out. My husband had the cheesesteak and said it was very good as well. The pretzel appetizer was also excellent. I missed it the first time we drove by. Parking in the back. We will be back! I definitely recommend. Military discount offered.

Update: we stopped back at The Oak Tavern on our way home 6 days later. Still amazing! My husband and I both had the pork tenderloin sandwiches- delicious! There was a band playing and our kids had so much fun dancing. We had another wonderful server - Shay - and she did a great job! Our girls loved her!! Thanks again for the great experience.
We went on a Sunday so it's not ever really crowded. The food is pretty tasty and it's pretty layed back. Steak sandwich is amazing, but so are the burgers and chicken strips. The big plus to good food is cold beer and its close to home. Prices are as expected for a bar, maybe a little cheaper.

It sat empty for years, so it’s been amazing to see it restored and brought back to life. The previous owners did a fantastic job renovating it, and now, as The Oak Tavern, it’s become one of my favorite local places. Our real estate team makes it a point to visit and support local small businesses through something we call “KC Chow Down.” Not only do we love discovering tasty spots, but we also enjoy showing appreciation by leaving the kinds of reviews that small-town gems truly deserve. The Oak Tavern hits the mark—affordable prices, a great selection of delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. When the band plays, the place comes alive. It’s the kind of place where you run into old friends and familiar faces, all there to enjoy a good meal and good company. You’ve done a great job with the space and the staff you’ve hired. It’s clear that customer satisfaction comes first, and we truly appreciate that. The food is always tasty, and I leave every time feeling full and happy.
A off-the-radar gem. Great building and setup inside and out. All of the staff are super friendly and genuine. I've only been once so far and the personal pizza recommended by the bartender was stellar. The same bartender made the German chocolate cake I took home and devoured and it was delicious. Sorry, no pictures because everything disappeared very quickly. I'll definitely be back with my fur baby when the heat calms down for a patio evening. 2 stages for live music. The best part of being an otr trucker is finding great places to eat with friendly service, delicious food and cold beverages! THE OAK TAVERN IS A GEM! Our server Spring was super friendly and was kicking butt behind the busy bar. We ordered the whisky mushroom Swiss burger!!! Wow! What a flavorful tasty burger. It had crispy edges but not dry at all. We tried some new beer for us that was pretty good too! Live music is a bonus. We would've stayed longer if we didn't have to hit the road early. We'll definitely come back again. Would love to party outside next time. Oh yeah, GO BIRDS!😘
Cool spot on the main drag. Got good food and drinks and great environment to have fun and good time out. They have pool tables and outdoor space with a fire place to hang at on a beautiful night. Thursdays nights are bike night 7 to 10pm.
